Recovery for Excel Provides Enhanced Support for Microsoft Office Excel 2007

Newest version of the industry-leading data recovery software for Microsoft Office Excel spreadsheets just got better. Recovery for Excel has received a set of significant updates that bring handling of corrupted Excel 2007 files to a new level.

In addition to standard features such as recovering cell data, Recovery for Excel now restores the original sizes of cells, rows and columns and the cell formatting.

Microsoft Excel 2007 formulas are now supported, including shared formulas.

Password-protection support for version 2007 has been added, given the password is known.

Recovery for Works Database Now Supports Works 9.0

Recovery for Works Database now supports Works 9 files. Text and its properties, formulae, forms and reports are recovered from corrupted databases.

Additionally, several new checks have been added to make output data more relevant:

  • OLE storage integrity
  • Column descriptor integrity

Employing these additional filters ensures the quality of recovered data.

Recovery for MySQL Recognizes New Field Types, Handles Difficult Cases Better

With the updated version of Recovery for MySQL, even more databases will have a chance for successful repair.

Version 2.5 of Recovery for MySQL has been enhanced with MEDIUMINT support for InnoDB databases and better support for Decimal, BIT and BLOB fields. As with the previous version, table structure and data is recovered for all present MySQL database formats.

Several additional integrity checks and improved algorithms provide for better recovery outcome on badly damaged databases.
