Recovery for SQL Server is available in three types of licenses: Standard, Enterprise and Service.
Standard License
Intended for small business and/or individual use.
One Standard license of Recovery for SQL Server allows:
- One installation of the product;
- Use for one server.
For having more than one installation or using on more than one server, an appropriate number of additional licenses must be purchased.
Standard license limitations:
- Recovery for SQL Server purchased under Standard License cannot recover databases exceeding 16Gb. An upgrade to Enterprise license is avaliable to Standard license customers in need to recover large databases;
- The product may not be used while rendering data recovery services to third parties. See Service license for these types of use.
- No support for command line calls included.
Price per one Standard license: US $499.00.
Enterprise License
Intended for medium to large businesses.
One Enterprise license of Recovery for SQL Server allows:
- Two installations of the product;
- Using for two servers;
- Recovering databases of any size;
- Support for using Recovery for SQL Server in batch files by providing command line interface.
For having more than two installations or using on more than two servers, an appropriate number of additional licenses must be purchased.
Enterprise license limitations:
- The product may not be used while rendering recovery services to third parties. See Service license for these types of use.
Price per one Enterprise license: US $748.00.
Service License
Intended for businesses rendering IT services to third parties, including but limited to: data recovery companies, helpdesks etc.
One Service license of Recovery for SQL Server allows:
- One installation of the product;
- Using for unlimited number of third-party servers;
- Recovering databases of any size;
- Support for using Recovery for SQL Server in batch files by providing command line interface.
For having more than one installation an appropriate number of additional licenses must be purchased.
Service license limitations:
- The license terminates in one year from the date of purchase. For continued use of the product, the license must be renewed annually;
- The product purchased under Service license may not be used for recovering Licensee's internal company servers. An appropriate quantity of Standard or Enterprise licenses must be acquired for these purposes.
